PD4ML does support Chinese, but it does not support chinese font names. For example it will work if you specify <font face="SimSun">, but if you give chinese glyphs instead of “SimSun”, it will fail. The same is with Russian: <font face="Arial"> – ok, <font face="Ариал"> – not.
