We’ll try to fix the issue in one of the forthcoming snapshot builds
in reply to: textarea being duplicated instead of split/moved to next page August 10, 2024 at 18:28#38467The current build partially solves the problem: it ensures that it does not create duplicate textareas.
In our test cases, “page-break-inside: Avoid” helps, but due to the inline nature of the textarea element, there may be nuances. If it does not go to the next page, try wrapping the textarea in a
and applying a style to it#38468Hi! It seems you are trying to call PD4ML v3 API in PD4ML v4.
See https://pd4ml.com/pd4ml-v3-to-v4-migration-guide/#api-calls-map for the API changesin reply to: Need to purchase license August 10, 2024 at 18:57#38469Hi! PD4ML licenses are not tied to a specific version number. You can use any, including v4.0.19, as long as it was released before your license maintenance period expired.

See PD4ML product comparison chart (below):in reply to: Licensing / Purchasing of PD4ML September 30, 2024 at 17:33in reply to: Why my licence is Evaluation even if i bought September 30, 2024 at 17:43#38582Hi! It seems the purchased license is assigned to another account. I’ve just forwarded our copy the license email with the account credentials to admin@ account.
You can always transfer a license from your account to another account of your choice.

in reply to: Technical questions / Troubleshooting October 1, 2024 at 19:29#38584Hi,
We are using PD4ML to generate PDF and DOCX documents and notice a difference in rendering. In DOCX spacing between paragraphs is applied by default: in Word ‘Paragraph -> Spacing -> After = 8 pt,’ and CSS styles like ‘margin: 0pt 0pt 0pt 0pt’ are not applied. Are there any options to remove the spacing?
Thank you.
in reply to: DOCX spacing issue October 1, 2024 at 21:04#38585Hi Alena,
the issue is known. This is specific to the current implementation and is planned to be refactored for the next support release in about 2 months.
in reply to: Image rotation based on EXIF orientation metadata October 7, 2024 at 16:47in reply to: Technical questions / Troubleshooting October 8, 2024 at 20:45#38627We are currently using PD4ML version 3+ and have recently begun migrating to version 4+. However, we’re unsure how to retrieve the license expiration date for the version 3+ installation. Any suggestions on how to get the expiration date would be helpful. For the latest version (v4+), we can track the license expiry since we purchased it through an account, but for the version 3+ license, we no longer have access to the account used for the purchase. Is there any way to retrieve the expiry date from the JAR file or through any built-in methods in the library?
in reply to: Is there a way to retrieve the license key expiration date? October 8, 2024 at 21:48#38628Hi! The PD4ML v3 binaries do not require a license file or activation code, so I’m afraid there is no way to get a license number from an existing PD4ML deployment. The license maintenance expiration was checked during the download of the v4 JAR.
PD4ML requires a pd4ml.lic file or an activation code provided via the API.
Can you share with us any information that might help identify your license record: company name, email domain, approximate purchase date, etc.?
You can write directly to sales pd4ml com if you do not want the information to appear in the discussion thread.
