pd4ml:page.footer Inline tag not rendering

I’m having trouble getting the Inline footers to work. I’ve been able to define footers through the API with no problem but, no matter what I do, i can’t get them to show up when i’ve defined them in the html. Page breaks work perfectly

I’d like to be able to put the footer on the last page of the document but, no matter what i do it will not display – anywhere. The html follows prior to pdf generation follows…

<pd4ml:page.footer> and <pd4ml:page.header> tags do not impact current page (they applied to subsequent pages only). So if you place the definition to the very end of HTML, there is no pages anymore, to apply the footer.

In order to resolve the issue you need to place the footer definition immediately after opening <body> tag or before opening <html>.

Yes I have this problem too in coldfusion, when I try to use

<pd4ml:page.header scope="1"> in coldfusion this generated error

so I update the tld file page_header to add the scope attribbutes like page.header

but after that, the header and footer still not show, anyone can help about this ??

A synonym for <pd4ml:page.header> for strict environments is <pd4ml-page-header>. Give a try to it. And make sure you use PD4ML Pro, as PD4ML Std does not support inline headers/footers.

We plan to refresh our Coldfusion instructions in the nearest future.

It is strange, that PD4ML works in general in your case, but headers/footers fail. Try to temporarily put <pd4ml-page-break> just after <pd4ml-page-header>

Does a header appear on the second PDF page?
