I have a similar piece of HTML to display a border around a td in a table and this renders fine. Any help is appreciated. Regards PD4ML March 20, 2012 at 16:25 #28924 PD4ML does not support SPAN borders. It is an implementation restriction: is interpreted as a text style changer (like , etc) and ignores some block element-specific styles. onlyonce November 20, 2013 at 21:19 #28925 Maybe you can use the tag, to draw border around the text. Hello <input id=”” class=”” style=”cursor: auto; border: 3px solid blue; font-size:14px; width: 50px;” value=”$1000″/> But, you need set manually the width for the tag. Best solution could be, if will be supported, or any other way you can do that with the same result. PD4ML November 21, 2013 at 10:56 #28926 display: inline-block; applied to DIV should also do the trick.
