callParameters.append( “% OS version: ” + System.getProperty( “os.name” ) + ” ” );

in reply to: pd4ml:page.footer Inline tag not rendering May 20, 2015 at 11:41#28204We plan to refresh our Coldfusion instructions in the nearest future.
It is strange, that PD4ML works in general in your case, but headers/footers fail. Try to temporarily put
<pd4ml-page-break>just after<pd4ml-page-header>Does a header appear on the second PDF page?
in reply to: Trouble understanding differencies between Linux and Windows May 20, 2015 at 11:56#29628v396 should do the trick (when “pd4ml.document.id” property is defined).
in reply to: Deployment / Configuration issues May 21, 2015 at 09:23#27019We are able to generate the PDFs with good results, but our system.out log is filled with
Warning: Invalid syntax in CSS selector: ""Is it possible to turn off these warnings?

<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN"> <html xmlns:xdt="http://www.w3.org/2005/xpath-datatypes" ><head><META http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8"><title>MY Title</title> <style media="all" type="text/css"> #address { position: absolute; top: 4.3px; } </style></head> <body class="myClass"><div id="address">Wilma Sown<br>20 SW Jefferson St<br>Portland<br>OR<br>97201</div> </body> </html>in reply to: Miniature pdf is generated May 25, 2015 at 14:36#29748On my workstation the document is converted as expected. See attached.
Obviously a reason of conversion problem is in conversion parameters. If a content appears in the resulting PDF document tiny, I would suspect htmlWidth API parameter value is set too big.
in reply to: closed border line in each page May 25, 2015 at 14:57#29744You may achieve that with a footer definition, like
<pd4ml:page.footer height="8"> <div style="width: 100%; height: 4; border-top: 1 solid tomato; border-bottom: 1 solid tomato;"></div> </pd4ml:page.footer>
Use the above code or modify already existent footer correspondingly.
Also place
<pd4ml:page.footer>tag just after<body>tag opens:... </head> <body> <pd4ml:page.footer> ...
in reply to: Turn off warnings May 25, 2015 at 15:05#29740Unfortunately the warning is not switchable. It comes from CSS Parser (ss_css2.jar) – the only third-party library PD4ML relies on.
From time to time we patch it, but currently we work on our own CSS processing solution and further ss-css2.jar patches are not planned.
in reply to: Miniature pdf is generated May 26, 2015 at 08:49#29749I don’t think there is an issue with html width parameter value because putting a relative positioned div around this absolutely positioned div solves the issue.
I just want to know, whether standalone div’s positioned absolute to the view port can be rendered correctly by pd4ml ?
I will also check the width we are setting. Also this issue is reproducible only in PDF format.
in reply to: closed border line in each page May 26, 2015 at 08:51#29745Thank you for the reply, sorry for the confusion, the question was not about the footer, its about each page has closed border line in black, we are not able to achieve that when we tried with CSS the border is always getting broken until the last page. Please assist.

Any time estimates on when the replacement of ss_css2.jar will happen?
in reply to: Inconsistent character font family on list May 27, 2015 at 09:45#29684Any news about this problem? We are having really a pain with this bug
in reply to: Inconsistent character font family on list May 27, 2015 at 18:17#29685Sorry for the silence.
The issue has been already fixed in the dev build. The update will be available with the forthcoming maintenance release in ~2 weeks.
