    I am sending a data grid which is in a web page to PD4ML.NET, it is adding an extra border on pdf even though the web page doesn’t have any.

    Please check if you’ve used useTTF() API call to enable font embedding. And if so, any HTML example with corresponding PDF will help.

    hi everbody

    I’m using the .net enviroment (pd4ml.pro.trial.dotnet20.360b1.zip).

    I want create a pdf from a html file. But from the second page on, all pages are not correct rendered. It looks like the complet style is missing.

    If I run the same html through the java enviroment (pd4ml.pro.trial.361b1.zip), everthing looks perfect.

    Can some give me some advise? Thanks a lot.

    .NET rendered PDF: .net pdf
    Java rendered PDF: java pdf

    i’ve made the change as you’ve suggested.

    the header works fine now and it is rendered the same as the HTML page header.
    the remaining problem is with the footer:
    like header, the footer is using a style that set an image for the background and width to 100%, but in the footer case, the image is rendered 1. up-side-down and 2. it is too big (left and right margins of the image are somewhere over the margins of the rendered pdf document); this 2nd. issue is also applyed for the case of the header, even if it is not so visible.

    for the html document i’m using
    pd4ml.adjustHtmlWidth();
    to be able to fit the html text into the pdf document and this is working.

    how can i do the same for footer?
    private PD4PageMark getPageFooter(String cssTag)
    {
    String footerBody = “

    <html><head>" + cssTag + "</head>" +
    "<body><DIV id="footer"></DIV></body></html>
    ”;
    PD4PageMark footer = new PD4PageMark();
    footer.setAreaHeight( -1 ); // autocompute
    footer.setHtmlTemplate( footerBody );
    return footer;
    }

    thank you for your help.

    one more problem: after i’ve set the page header and footer with pd4ml.setPageHeader and pd4ml.setPageFooter, the header and footer appears only on the first page of the rendered PDF. I don’t understand why header and footer aren’t rendered for all of the pages! How can i make it work?

    Trying to convert html page (Arabic text) with following with latest version of pd4ml jars:

    <div style="direction:rtl;text-align:right;">

    It is not considering “direction:rtl”. Is there any work around available.

    Thanks,

    PD4ML API has a method, which takes an array of URLs as a parameter. It should do the trick for you.

    Hi,
    I am trying to use header tag at my page in following way but header is not coming:-

    <%@ taglib uri="https://pd4ml.com/tlds/pd4ml/2.6"  prefix="pd4ml"  %><%@page
    contentType="text/html; charset=ISO8859_1"%><pd4ml:transform
    screenWidth="900"
    pageFormat="A5"
    pageOrientation="landscape"
    pageInsets="15,15,15,15,points"
    enableImageSplit="false"
    inline="true"
    fileName="transaction.pdf"
    interpolateImages="false">
    <pd4ml:header areaHeight="50">
    <font face="Arial" size="2">Header test.<br></font>
    </pd4ml:header>
    <pd4ml:footer areaHeight="20"><font color="red"><i>page $[page] of $[total]</i></font></pd4ml:footer>
    <html>
    <head>
    <title>pd4ml header/footer test</title>
    <style type="text/css">
    body {
    color: #000000;
    background-color: #FFFFFF;
    font-family: Tahoma, "Sans-Serif";
    font-size: 10pt;
    }
    </style>
    </head>
    <body>
    Hello, World!
    <pd4ml:page.break/>
    <table width="100%" style="background-color: #f4f4f4; color: #000000">
    <tr><td>Hello, New Page!</td></tr>
    </table>
    </body>
    </html>
    </pd4ml:transform>

    Currently I am experimenting with evaluation copy.
    Please help me. If I will not be able to use header tag then we have to look for some other option.

    Thanks
    Pankaj
