in reply to: PDF rendering issue with display:block September 27, 2017 at 12:44#29421
It is now 2017 Sep 9 and display: inline-block; is still not working. Expanding the background color with padding in a is vital. Please fix this. 4 years should be sufficient time.

in reply to: HTML/CSS rendering issues October 4, 2017 at 14:47#27170Hello,
Background: We have purchased Volume license of Pd4ML recently
I Am generating PDF with images using pd4ml.. however we experienced that the 32 bit depth images are coming as distorted in output pdf.. if I take the same image and downgrade it to 24 bit depth.. there is not problem with the 24bit depth image in output pdf.
Is there a limitation on pd4ml library in dealing with 32 bit depth images

in reply to: Does PD4ML.Net support Bootstrap and other styling libraries October 4, 2017 at 15:32#30054Initially PD4ML was seen not as a HTML capture, but PDF authoring tool, which uses a subset of HTML/CSS to define document layout. As our current HTML renderer has a number of limitations, we do not expect it will convert an arbitrary web page perfectly – it expects the source HTML is designed or refined bearing in mind PD4ML.
The situation is going to change with forthcoming PD4ML v4 release. Unfortunately a .NET port from Java will take some time and be published later.

in reply to: Does PD4ML.Net support Bootstrap and other styling libraries October 8, 2017 at 19:16#30055SO it does mean that Bootstrap like libraries are not allowed.. may I know if the stylesheets are supported?
if yes is there a special way to use them or can we do a css file include in the html and feed it as an input to the pd4ml library and expect to work seamlessly?

This is working fine if I switch to a previous version of PD4ML, no changes done to the code. Are you actually able to get it to work with HTTPS in url of images on the latest version? If I use HTTP, the newest version is also working ok.
Hi, just requesting an update to this question, as we see other issues resolved in the latest version, but this is holding us back due to HTTPS not working. We use Tomcat 8, and as said before , everything was working fine until shifting to the release with the change in CSS engine. I would just like to get it confirmed that you get HTTPS to work with images on your end.
