We encountered a problem with page-footers that didn’t get rendered.
We have a HTML-template that defines headers and footers with their tags and . It worked fine when we directly executed pd4ml_demo.jar. Both, header and footer, got rendered. But since we need to enablePageBreaks we had to built an API (based on your Converter.java example) that sets enablePageBreaks to true (s. Attached API). We created a new jar with the new class and the content of pd4ml_demo.jar. Calling that, the page got rendered except the footer who is now missing completly. Header is working fine.
Heres how the footer is defined in the template:

Any idea what the problem could be?

I am trying to nest an absolute div inside a relative in order to have the text in absolute flow up from the bottom of the absolute. The following HTML displays fine (the way I want it) in IE & FF, but the text renders on top of the box on the PDF output from PD4ML. Any help/suggestions?

Thanks, thats now working. But with one problem:
    When the table-rows consists of

‘s that show multiline text (with
    )
and the page-break is right inside one of this elements, it dosesnt work correctly.
The new header and the continuation of the text start at the same position and
    overwrite each other.
Is there any known way in pd4ml to prevent this?
Some kind of “page-protecton” for a

    for example?

The HTML below generates an extra blank page at the end.

    Hello PD4ML,
Could you please provide an email address so that we may contact and deal with your support team directly. This issue is holding up production changes and we can’t afford lengthy delays by waiting on answers to be posted in a forum.

Previously we had an issue and it was dealt with via email swiftly and attentively. We were hoping it would be a similar case this time. Any knowledge gained outside of the forum can be copied in at a later date.

    Thanks

Currently PD4ML does not support bottom CSS property (http://pd4ml.com/css.htm). For absolute positioning only top and left can be used.

In your particular case the needed positioning can be achieved without absolute positioning, just with the vertical align set to bottom

From CSS perspective a third table cell still matches TD+TD selector condition. However TD+TD+TD condition should have more weight in the case. We need to analyze that in depth, but it looks like a bug in our code.

    Emil,

try to switch debug on with and inspect the log file of the server.

First it should dump the version number. Please make sure if it has Pro suffix.

    #27627

The maximal header or footer height is limited by 1/3 of the page height. The limitation is currently hardcoded, but in theory we can implement a possibility to dynamically change it.

You are right: it does not work with

    it does:

What kind of Hyphenation is supported by PD4ML?

lets assume we have fixed width div box with text in it, is there a way to either automatically or semi-automatically (i.e. ?) apply hyphenation?

    Thanks for your help!

    Cheers
