Created HELPD-385 ticket
in reply to: PDF UA set LANG metadata June 8, 2022 at 10:50#34778Hello,
can be set in section of HTML with i.e
last post seems to be incomplete, could you please update?
in reply to: PDF UA set LANG metadata June 7, 2022 at 14:15#34775addMetadata() tells that I should not use keys for standard properties:
key – a unique name, which must not be one of the standard property names Title, Author, Subject, Keywords, Creator, Producer, CreationDate, ModDate and Trapped
So, could you please confirm that I can use addMetadata() method to set these properties?
in reply to: PDF UA set LANG metadata June 3, 2022 at 09:06#34769Thank you, it works!
One more question, is that possible to set other metadata values (Subject, Keywords, Creator, Producer, CreationDate, ModDate and Trapped) using something like PD4ML.set*** similarly to setDocumentTitle() and setAuthorName()? I cannot find corresponding methods for these fields in the PD4ML class api.in reply to: Page number not full when converting HTML to PDF September 16, 2021 at 11:54#34495Having the same issue with pd4ml 4.0.9fx5. Any update on it?
in reply to: Page margins and line spacing differ in PD4ML v4 vs v3 November 27, 2020 at 09:26in reply to: Numerated lists are saved differently in RTF format by pd4ml v3 and v4 November 9, 2020 at 06:33#34009We’ll address the issue and let you know as soon as there is a solution or workaround.
Thanks. Actually my goal was to clarify with you whether this is an issue or not.
in reply to: PageSize and HtmlWidth November 2, 2020 at 06:39#34005Hello,
Could you please provide an update on the issue?
I’m trying daily snapshot builds, but the last one (4.0.9fx2-20201028-0554) still doesn’t work. Thanks,
Ninain reply to: PageSize and HtmlWidth October 27, 2020 at 07:07#34003Thank you for clarification.
But it should not fail anyway, regardless of htmlWidth value passed. For now I see that different documents are not getting converted with various htmlWidth values (e.g. Doc1 gets converted fine with htmlWidth=842 but gets stuck with 850, Doc2 gets converted with htmlWidth=850 but gets stuck with 842 (or any other), and so on…). Are there any updates on this issue?in reply to: PageSize and HtmlWidth October 23, 2020 at 12:37#34001PageSize is the target page format, which dimensions given in physical units (mm, in, pt etc). htmlWidth can bee seen as a width of a virtual “web browser” frame. htmlWidth is mapped to pageSize.width (minus horizontal margins).
See /pd4ml-v4-programmers-manual/#customizing
Thank you for the link, it made things more clear for me.
So, as I understand, there is no any strict recommendation that HtmlWidth should be less than PageSize.width, it just impacts the scale how PDF is generated (the more HtmlWidth the smaller scale). Correct?in reply to: PageSize and HtmlWidth October 23, 2020 at 09:52#33999I’ve reported an issue describing the use case in more details.

in reply to: CustomTag usage October 15, 2020 at 09:17#33990I am not sure if a nesting of section tags is semantically correct: usually a document divided to sections, sections to articles. However from technical perspective a section should be just as a regular div has no restrictions for a nesting. (And now the section tag is treated rather as a paragraph, which is not correct)
Understand, but this is a content we receive from a client, and I’m afraid we cannot influence it anyhow.
We’ll align the issue asap.
Thank you!
BTW: do you still receive no Helpdesk notifications? Yesterday it looked like we fixed a configuration issue.
Yes, I received a notification today, thanks!
in reply to: CustomTag usage October 15, 2020 at 07:57#33987Hello,
For basic case (sidebar tag only) the issue is solved.
However, for more complex structure it is still not working, please see sample structure:
<section> <sidebar style="display: block;box-sizing: border-box;padding: 10px 20px;background-color: #ededed;"> <section> <h2>Header</h2> <section>Section section</section> <section>Section section 2</section> </section> </sidebar> </section>
Could you please take a look? Should I report another issue for that (I’ll try to register another account for different email)?
Thanks in advance.Attachments:

Thank you! Will check tomorrow.
I am wondering why you do not receive our Helpdesk replies. Your gmail address looks correct.
That’s really strange. I receive notifications from forum (sender is <sales@pd4ml.com>), but not from support. Is sender email for support different?
I’m going to submit another issue report, so don’t want to miss notifications… -
