in reply to: Which licence should I purchase ? May 20, 2024 at 14:01#38226
Hi! To be 100% PD4ML licensing policy friendly, you would need to purchase one license for each deployed production instance of a PD4ML-enabled product (in your case for each load-balanced node), plus an additional one license for development needs.
Instead, we would recommend purchasing the DevSite UA license because it does not limit the number of deployments, covers development needs, and has a longer maintenance period.in reply to: Question about the validity of a single license May 16, 2024 at 11:36#38220There are PD4ML Enterprise licenses, which cover all company divisions and affiliates. But in your case it is probably redundant.
If the remote teams are working on the same project as the DevSite licensee (actually belong to the same team), the DevSite license is still ok. It is important to us that the licensee appears as only one source of support requests.
But we in no way want to dissuade you from buying an Enterprise license 🙂

You can get familiar with the basics of license activation at the following link:
1. You can put pd4ml.lic file to the root of the Eclipse project (or any other mathod, described by the link above)
2. Yes
3. pd4ml.lic is a simple text file. You can create it and copy the emailed activation code there. Or you can log into your account and click on the license code – you will be prompted to save the file.in reply to: Image rotation based on EXIF orientation metadata April 18, 2024 at 11:37#38113Hi! Unfortunately, we didn’t pay enough attention to this feature because customers never asked for it. Will be available with the next snapshot build
in reply to: Korean font is not being applied April 3, 2024 at 14:01#38055Most probably you can fix the issue by an explicit specifying of a font face:
H2, BODY {font-family: Times New Roman, Batang, Serif}Please find attached a test document, which uses no Batang, but only Arial Unicode MS as a fallback font. Arial Unicode MS has no bold version (the same as Batang), and you can see PD4ML successfully synthesizes bold font weight

in reply to: Valid License but shows demo watermark February 23, 2024 at 18:27#37815Hi!
> We tried placing the pd4ml.lic file in the lib folder (same level as the pd4ml.jar)It is definitely wrong. PD4ML can find pd4ml.lic in the classpath root (i.e WEB-INF/classes, when pd4ml.jar is in WEB-INF/lib) or in the work dir of the application (whose actual location is not always obvious). It cannot scan lib/ folders.
If the project structure is too complex and various JARs are locaed by different classloaders, sometimes it is the easiest just to pack pd4ml.lic to the root level of pd4ml.jar (using any zip tool)
in reply to: PD4ML – Which licence key should we use February 8, 2024 at 18:28#37727The code has already been re-generated. You (or your colleagues) should have been informed of this through the helpdesk notifications.

in reply to: PD4ML – Which licence key should we use January 22, 2024 at 15:16#37694I’ve found your license (activation code starts with “4YY…”) and it seems to be corrupted for some reason (it points to a non-existent product id).
We can re-generate it for you, but it will give not much as your maintenance period has expired by Feb. 2022. The license covers only quite outdated software versions older than v4.0.12. With the actual v4.0.18 it switches to the evaluation mode
in reply to: PD4ML – Which licence key should we use January 22, 2024 at 14:31#37691Hi! It must be so called “Activation code”: few uppercased alpha-numeric groups, delimited by dashes

in reply to: RTF – Individual Header for Title page January 17, 2024 at 14:49#37679The following HTML snippet defines individual header for the first page. The code works with PD4ML v4.
PD4ML v3 also allows to define individual headers in PDF output mode with API calls. But most probably it does not work for RTF
<pd4ml:page.header scope="1"> PAGE 1 HEADER </pd4ml:page.header> <pd4ml:page.header scope="2+"> DEF PAGE HEADER </pd4ml:page.header> <body> PAGE CONTENT <pd4ml:page.break> PAGE CONTENT <pd4ml:page.break> PAGE CONTENT <pd4ml:page.break> PAGE CONTENT <pd4ml:page.break>
